Summer Career Excursion 2016: Information
Hello everyone! We're glad that you have registered for the Heart of Tabitha Foundation Summer Career Excursion! This email includes logistical information that you'll want to know before arriving on Monday, so please read it carefully.
The program begins on Monday, July 25. Please arrive at or before 9AM at 1325 East-West Highway, Silver Spring, MD 20910 room 2222. *Note that the address differs from that on the program flyer.* On the map pictured below, this is building SSMC 2. We will be in this same room on Friday, July 29th.
On Tuesday, please arrive at 1305 East-West Highway, Silver Spring, MD 20910 room SSMC 4, 11153.
*Bring 1 form of ID (Student ID is acceptable). ID is NECESSARY everyday to enter the building. We presubmitted all registrants' names, so if you were planning to bring a friend along who has not registered with us, please contact Ms. Delores via phone or email [email protected] as soon as possible.
* We will provide pens, notebooks, folders, and a backpack for everyone. We will also provide lunch and snacks.
Appropriate Attire:
*Please dress appropriately for this workplace setting. We know it's hot out, but we will be in a conservative, professional setting, so shorts and garments that expose a significant amount of skin, including halter tops, tank tops, and garments that show visible undergarments are unacceptable. Great options are pants, dress capri pants, slacks, or khaki's and a nice shirt/ top, or a conservative, non-revealing dress with straps for the ladies. -Jeans without rips and tears are acceptable and sneakers are fine too (for Monday and Tuesday!)
As a general rule, if you have to question whether something is acceptable, then ---please don’t wear it.
Please also consider that heavy colognes, perfumes and body oils may be uncomfortable for others with allergies and smell sensitivities.
